Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty! The Crew is CASEing a shaker card found on pages 122-123 from the Annual Catalogue. I love the idea of the circle card and the leaf embellishments.
Basic card measurements and tools.
Stamp set / Bundle: Spotlight on Nature
- Card Base (A5) 29cm x 14.9cm scored at 10.5cm
- Thoughtful Journey Front DSP: 10 cm x 14.4 cm
- Pretty Peacock Card - for die cut circle and for fussy cut leaves.
- Basic White inside: 10cm x 14.4cm
- Wink of Stella
- Ink: Memento and Pretty Peacock
The leaves were stamped in Memento, this was then left to dry whilst I did other parts of the card. I then coloured the leaves with Pretty Peacock ink using my Wink of Stella as a paint brush, the leaves are all sparkly. The circle cut from the DSP was adhered on the card base prior to setting up my shaker component.
